Head of Performance

Pelé is a firm believer that where most people fall short in their fitness journeys is with their mindset. This shapes the way that he programmes, delivers, and motivates during each and every session in The Machine Room.

Pele’s favourite theme is our signature #SwitchOn class. He believes that this class leaves no stone unturned when it comes to building a strong body, and an even stronger mind. Whether we’re talking about BIG partner sweats or gruelling AMRAP’s & EMOM’s, #SwtichOn really is the true test of mental and physical fitness.
Experience Manager
Nickol’s passion for holistic health and all-round fitness means she tailors every workout to the needs of the individual. Her caring and motivating approach will help you smash your goals and become the best version of yourself, physically and mentally.
Nickol’s favourite theme is STAMINA because in life, when the going gets tough, we have no choice but to get tougher. STAMINA helps condition Nickol’s mindset, helping her understand that the pain is temporary and that we can all keep moving forward despite whatever challenges and obstacles life throws in our way!
Head of Fitness Development
With a promise of motivational one liners and epic playlists to match, Alex is here to get you over any hurdles you face in The Machine Room.
With over 10 years experience at the pinnacle of the London fitness scene, Alex is a firm believer that a strong mindset paired with an even stronger work ethic is an unstoppable combination. Hard work and commitment comes up trumps every time and Alex is here to make sure you get the very best out of every session.
Alex’s favourite theme is FREESTYLE. We should all be ready to expect the unexpected, adapt and overcome any obstacle. FREESTYLE will leave you feeling empowered, clear-minded and energised. He can’t wait to see you in The Machine Room!
Greta is a firm believer that we only get one go at this thing called life and it’s too short not to enjoy the process.
Greta believes that we only fulfil our true potential once we’ve stepped outside that comfort zone.
Greta’s favourite theme is #SwitchOn! After building up throughout the week #SwitchOn is the perfect opportunity to show yourself what you are capable of and to have some fun with it. After working through the themes during the week Switch On allows you to tackle, address and take what you need from that session.
Coach Banks is a no-nonsense, get the job done trainer. He believes that you are who you think you are and that mindset is key.
He loves to push everyone above and beyond their perceived ‘limits’.

Dan’s favourite theme is RESET because it’s the toughest of them all, pushing yourself to your absolute limits and getting deep in the pain cave.
Em is an ex-dancer turned fitness professional and has a strong focus on building strength and endurance in her classes with a keen eye for technique. With her banging playlists and infectious energy, you’ll be motivated to smash every single workout whilst building your self-confidence. Make sure you grab a spot in her class!
Em’s favourite theme is STAMINA because she loves being pushed out of her comfort zone. There is no better theme for getting comfortable being uncomfortable.
With Danish and Nigerian roots, Obi is your international export coming to push you out of your comfort zone! With a background in basketball and American football, he is all about getting through the tough challenges together as a team. Obi will keep your energy high as he pushes you to new limits – if you are ready for a big challenge and big vibes come join him in the machine room!
Obi’s favourite theme is RESET because it’s one of the toughest. What you’ll learn is no matter how hard you fall you always have the chance to get back up and go again.
Matteo focuses on getting you fitter, faster and stronger whilst having a good time in the process. He is a firm believer that fitness starts with the mind and works its way outwards. His motto is “workout because you love your body, not because you hate it!” Matteo will have you working to your limits whilst instilling confidence in your abilities and bringing you the biggest tunes and energy to push you through.
Matteo’s favourite theme is FREESTYLE because it reflects how he likes to live on a daily basis – a good, strong and important foundation made of work and love, enhanced with creativity and a spicy, unpredictable lifestyle.
Sammy’s passion for this incredible industry and her passion for people is utterly infectious, and once combined is a HUGE recipe for success.
If you’re looking for an uplifting workout, full of energy and drive then Sammy’s classes are for you. She will put you through your paces and will drive you and push you to be the best you can be.
Sammy will be by your side every step (and every burpee) of the way and she will undoutbley get the most out of you in every session, whilst showing you that ANYTHING is possible with the right mindset.
Sammy’s favourite theme is ENERGY! Your energy and time is so precious (once it’s gone, it’s gone) so don’t waste your time on anyone or anything that doesn’t make you feel good, or isn’t helping you get to where you want to be.
In every one of Sammy’s classes she will be sure to remind you that you are your number 1 priority and no matter what to always choose YOU.
Ria’s happy personality and positive outlook is reflected in her classes and coaching style; creating a welcoming, high energy atmosphere the minute you walk through the door. Encouraging you to test your limits, push yourself out of your comfort zone and reminding you that you have the strength within you to do so.
You’ll leave the machine room feeling like you’ve challenged yourself both physically and mentally, and no doubt she’ll have you ready to come back for more!
Ria’s favourite theme is RESET. No matter how much life throws at you, taking a step back can sometimes be the quickest way forward. It’s helps you to understand the importance of pushing to failure but also that there is ALWAYS opportunity to refocus and come back even stronger than before!
Eva believes that all forms of movement is medicine, and that every session has an opportunity to heal you. Her passion for fitness came from her professional dancing background, using fitness to become a stronger and more efficient mover, which led her to taking the leap into the industry after realising that there was more to fitness than “exercising”.
If you are looking for someone to keep you accountable, push you the extra mile and keep you on top form, then Eva’s classes are for you. Eva will challenge and empower you both mentally and physically to help you become the best athlete you can be.
Eva’s favourite theme is ENERGY. Energy is all about taking that step back to evaluate, slow down and pace yourself before taking the next big leap. It’s about power, control and honesty, staying true to you and being the best you can be. No matter what you go through, 1 step back can become 2 steps forwards!
Jamie is just your average guy. He’s been in the fitness industry since he was 19. His no nonsense approach will help you achieve your goals, fast! He does not tolerate slacking -unless bribed with food.
Jamie’s favourite theme is STAMINA. “Not only have I been teaching it from the very beginning of my journey with ROWBOTS but also it’s the theme that personally resonates the most. STAMINA has helped me understand to not be overcome with the burden of problems and obstacles but rather focus on what’s in front and keep driving forwards mentally, emotionally and physically.”

Psychology Programmer
Dan is the ROWBOTS Psychology Programmer, helping us to build and integrate scientifically-underpinned, evidence-based psychology processes and techniques into the ROWBOTS workouts.
Dan is a qualified and registered sport psychologist with the HCPC. With over 20 years experience in high performance sport he has worked with some of the leading athletes and coaches in the world. Dan has held senior psychology positions in British sport and is a sought after consultant and speaker for sporting governing bodies, organisations and teams globally. As a former professional golfer, Dan knows first-hand what it’s like to strive to high perform in challenging environments and compete under the most intense pressure. He has written four best-selling books and is host of one of the most popular sport psychology podcasts, The Sport Psych Show.
Olympic Champion
British rower and Olympic gold medallist at Rio 2016. In his first five seasons with the GB Rowing Team senior squad, Will won Olympic gold and bronze medals either side of three successive World Championships titles. Will stroked the men’s eight to a memorable victory at Rio 2016 having won bronze with George Nash in the men’s pair four years earlier in London
Technique Advisor
Ben is a former International Rower with the Great Britain Team and has 15+ years’ experience as a professional coach. Ben’s specialism is drawing out the best from every individual. As well as his extensive experience in rowing, Ben holds an honours degree in Leadership & Sports Psychology, training in Mindfulness-based CBT and is qualified in Cognitive-Behavioural Coaching. Ben works with our instructors to ensure trainers teach perfect technique and melding the physical, technical and mental components of our workouts – ensuring that the impact of the ROWBOTS experience lasts well beyond the class itself
